Well, it looks like Bachata and Salsa dancing is back at Casablabla after a year or so break. Casablabla was the original home of the regular Wednesday night Latin dance party many years ago so it’s nice to see it return.

The place to head every Thursday night for your Salsa fix is Cue Bar, Norwood. Adelaide’s oldest pool hall converts into a live music venue for the night with Latin band, Sabor A Cuba getting you up and dancing Latino style!

Every Thursday night starting March 25th, 2021 there is Latin dancing and live music at Cue Bar Norwood. 7:30 pm-10:30 pm

Time: 9:15 pm-1 am

DJ Mutati and friends will be spinning the hottest salsa and bachata tracks for you to groove to. Free entry, drink specials, Adelaide’s biggest dance floor! All welcome, bring your friends! 

$6 Coronas, $5 Fireball shots, $30 bottles of bubbles! 

The first Bailamos was held on Friday 24th of Feb and it was a hit! Come along and see for yourself, and tell your friends 😉 

5. Friday Nights- Spanglish at Little Havana Co.

Whilst it’s not specifically a salsa night… you can still get your fix of Latin beats and have a cocktail or two every Friday night at little Havana Co. Morphett St when they hold their weekly Spanglish Party. (yes this is the one that used to be at Casablabla)

Dance, drink, and party Latino-style, Salsa, Reggaeton, Bachata, Merengue, Latin Party Anthem, RNB. 
Doors Open at 6 pm
Latino street Food is available.

Saturday

Whilst there are currently no regular weekly Saturday salsa events there is SOMETHING on every Saturday night. You’ll just need to snoop around Facebook to make sure you stay up to date with all of the irregular, sneaky little salsa parties going on! 

6. Mutati Party at QuickSteps

Where Can I Go Salsa Dancing In Adelaide

Mutati and QuickSteps partner up one Saturday per month to host a giant Salsa/Bachata party at the QuickSteps studio. This allows you to drink, dance, and be merry Latino style on Adelaide’s biggest dance floor! 

We generally start the night with a free dance class at 7:30 pm. Then the bar is open and it’s dancing time until 1 am. 

Tickets can be purchased through the QS website at $15 per purchase or $20 on the day. Tell your friends! 

Sunday- Salsa Sundays at Plant 4 and Salsa Bachata By the Sea
