Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon filled with rhythm, connection, and plenty of fun at our next Dance Challenge on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, starting at 4:30 PM! This time, we’re celebrating one of the most expressive and romantic dances of all — the Rumba.
If you’ve never attended one of our Dance Challenges before, you’re in for a treat. These events are among the most exciting and social highlights of our dance calendar. A Dance Challenge is a friendly and supportive competition where dancers have the opportunity to showcase the skills, confidence, and routines they’ve been developing in class. Whether you choose to dance with your teacher, perform with a partner, or simply come along to watch and support others, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
We’ll begin the afternoon with a special Rumba Workshop led by Antonela. During this engaging session, she’ll introduce an exciting new rumba step and guide everyone through a fun progressive rumba routine. The workshop is designed to be enjoyable and accessible for dancers of different levels, making it a great opportunity to learn something new, build confidence, and get into the spirit of the event. Best of all, the workshop is included with both participant and spectator tickets, so everyone can join in and be part of the experience.
Following the workshop, the Rumba Challenge heats will begin, giving participants the chance to take to the floor and shine. Expect plenty of encouragement, applause, and positive energy as dancers showcase their passion and progress. Once the challenge is complete, the dance floor will open for social dancing, allowing everyone to relax, connect, and enjoy an evening of music and movement together.
