Westy Jamz Dance, Music & Fun Night
45 minutes of West Coast Swing bliss every Monday night in The Baker Ballroom here at QuickSteps Dance Club Studio. What a perfect way to wrap up the first day of another week.
When: Every Monday 9:15 pm-10 pm
Facilities: professional dance floor, clean and fancy bathrooms, large front bar space where you can collect drinks and bring them back to the Baker Ballroom to stay hydrated.
Cost: Absolutely Free!
Who’s there? This is a fairly new event for us, so it’s slowly growing as our members become more comfortable with West Coast Swing. We generally have 25-30 members at Westy Jamz, and they range from beginners to advanced. We also get visitors from our friends at Happens Dance, who come along to join in from time to time as well! Mirabella is there to host you, so make sure you ask her for a dance
Music: Mirabella is the resident West Coast Swing DJ, and she does take requests.
Dance Styles: 100% West Coast Swing, of course!
What’s the vibe? Let’s learn and dance together as a community. There’s no judgment here, it’s all about trying out what you’ve learnt and seeing how it fits on the social floor.
