TJ was introduced to dance when he was 4 years old and since then he has kept upgrading his repertoire of genres. He tried Latin for the first time when he was 16 and competed for 2 years before going to the UK for graduation in performing arts / musical theatre. Since then TJ has been professionally working in the entertainment industry within various roles and dance styles.
TJ is trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop other than Latin and Ballroom. After graduation TJ went on a world tour with a Latvian company performing European cabaret for a year. Then he worked on TV reality shows in India, choreographed and assisted on various Bollywood projects before starting his own dance school. TJ moved to Australia in 2018, worked in Brisbane teaching in multiple dance studios. He moved to Adelaide in 2024 to teach in QuickSteps Dance Club Studio with an honest belief that anyone and everyone can dance. His focus is on enjoying dance as an art with an awareness of our own propreoception. In 2023 TJ competed in World Salsa Solo, Brisbane in multiple categories including Solo, Duet and group and left with a trophy in all the categories. In 2024, TJ competed in the World Salsa Summit, Orlando and came back with trophies and accolades.
